Korean Eyeliner Embroidery

Let your eyes speak.

Eyeliner embroidery, also known as lashline tattoo, is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure specifically designed for the upper eyelid. This technique, inspired by Korean beauty trends, involves using a single needle with a machine to achieve desired results. Whether you prefer a bold and intense black eyeliner look or a subtle and thin lashline style, the choice of style and shape will be customized to enhance and complement your eyes.

With permanent eyeliner, you can expect added definition to your lash line, creating a more open or lifted appearance. This smudge-proof and waterproof solution is ideal for individuals who want to save time or may find it challenging to apply eyeliner due to shaky hands or poor eyesight.

Who is it for?

Permanent eyeliner is a micropigmentation procedure that involves using a needle to deposit pigment granules into the top layers of the skin, similar to a tattoo. It has gained significant popularity in recent years and is currently one of the most sought-after cosmetic enhancements.

One of the main advantages of permanent eyeliner is that it provides a faster morning makeup routine, making it particularly appealing to individuals with busy lifestyles. It is also highly favored by active people and athletes who want their makeup to stay intact even during activities that induce sweating. Additionally, it can be a great solution for those with light eyelashes, as it helps enhance the appearance of the eyes. People with allergies to traditional makeup may also find permanent eyeliner to be a suitable alternative.

While semi-permanent makeup can create stunning results for eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner, it’s important to note that the procedure is not recommended for everyone. Choosing to undergo semi-permanent makeup is a significant decision that will have long-lasting effects on your body. It’s crucial to take ample time for consideration and thoroughly evaluate whether it aligns with your personal preferences and needs.

Process

Usage of Numbing Cream/ Numbing Agent

Numbing agent will prevent your body from sending any inflammatory signals that may cause these issues. Your skin will be much less likely to have any side effects such as redness, inflammation or bruising. After the procedure, you may experience slight irritation but this will fade away after your skin has healed. A numbing cream can help reduce your discomfort and allow the microblading procedure to be completed faster. This means that you’re less likely to feel any pain throughout the process and it will also take much less time for your skin to heal.

When numbing cream is applied, we cover every part of the skin that will be treated during the microblading procedure. This is because some areas (such as the lips) may feel painful when they’re done and you don’t want to add any additional discomfort after using a painkiller.

In order to ensure your overall well-being and avoid any potential complications, it is important to carefully review all the information provided on this page regarding the requirements, contraindications, and medications to avoid before your semi-permanent makeup appointment. Proper preparation is key to achieving the best possible healed results, so please make sure to follow the instructions accordingly.

Touch-Ups

Touch-up prices are exclusively available for returning clients who have previously been seen by Jealash Beauty Studio.

A touch-up appointment is highly recommended to enhance the results and make any necessary color adjustments in areas where the skin may not have retained the pigment. During this session, we will refine the shape, color, and make any minor adjustments as needed.

Touch-up pricing is as follows:

  • Within the 1st month: Free of charge (1st session)
  • Within 6 months: 40% off (1 session)
  • Within 12 months: 30% off (1 session)
  • After 12 months: 10% off (2 sessions)

Please note that if you had previous work done by another artist, it will be priced as an initial session.

Before & After
Before Your Arrival

To ensure a smooth procedure and minimize complications, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Avoid blood thinners to prevent excessive bleeding.
  • Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages 48 hours prior to the procedure.
  • Do not consume caffeine on the day of the procedure.
  • Only take pain relievers or killers if directed by your physician.
  • Stop using fish oil or biotin one week before your appointment.
  • Remove eyelash extensions at least 2 days prior to the procedure.
  • Avoid eyelash tinting or curling within 3 days of the procedure.

If you have a specific brow shape in mind and are open to suggestions, I can assist in designing a brow shape that suits you best. Please note that we cannot tattoo over blemishes or moles in or around the treatment area.

It is recommended that you shower before your procedure.

Aftercare

Follow these steps for proper aftercare:

Absorb: After the procedure, gently blot the treated area with a clean tissue every 5 minutes to absorb excess lymph fluid. Continue doing this throughout the day until the oozing stops. Removing the fluid prevents lymphatic fluid hardening.

Wash: From days 1 to 7, wash the area daily to remove bacteria, product build-up, oils, and dead skin. Use water and an antibacterial soap like Cetaphil or Neutrogena. Gently cleanse your eyelids in the morning and evening using your fingertips. Rinse with water, ensuring all soap is rinsed away. Pat dry with a clean tissue. Avoid using products containing acids or exfoliants.

Moisturize: Apply a small amount of aftercare ointment using a cotton swab. Spread it evenly across the treated area. Avoid over-applying, as it can suffocate the skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Do not apply the ointment to wet or damp skin.

Healing Timeline

Day 1: You may experience slight puffiness, swollen eyes, heavy lids, light sensitivity, and redness. Sleeping in an elevated position can help reduce swelling. Use a clean icepack (covered with a paper towel or cloth) for 10-minute intervals within the first 48 hours.

Day 2-3: Swelling and crustiness may occur upon waking but will decrease throughout the day as circulation increases. Avoid heavy lifting, physical exertion, and crying.

Day 4-6: Pigment within the epidermis will start to flake off in small lines resembling stitches. Do not scratch or pick at the area. Blinking helps eliminate the detached pigment and epidermis.

Day 7-10: Shedding should be complete. You can safely expose your face to shower spray and use makeup.

Taking good care of your skin and protecting it from UV rays will contribute to the longevity and overall outcome of your permanent cosmetic procedure.

Terms & Conditions

Please note that the following conditions and guidelines apply to various procedures, including Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), Scar Reduction Skin Camouflage, Eyebrow Embroidery & Microblading, Lip Blushing (Color Correction), and Korean Eyeliner Embroidery:

We are unable to perform Semi-Permanent Makeup if any of the following conditions exist:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Non-compliant diabetes. It is essential to heal well and adhere to your doctor’s recommended diet and medication.
  • If you are currently using Accutane or other strong retinoids (after 6 months, it is allowed).
  • If you have sunburn on the treatment area.
  • If less than 48 – 72 hours have passed since waxing.

Semi-Permanent Makeup is not recommended if you have any of the following conditions or symptoms on the treatment area:

  • Skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, scabies, ringworm, acne, allergic reactions, boils, wounds, severe scaling keratosis, or damaged capillaries.
  • If you have undergone a strong chemical peel, dermabrasion, immunotherapy, or any other intense skin resurfacing treatment. The skin needs to be free from irritation and should be stopped 2 – 3 weeks before any treatment.

Moles do not retain pigment, so they will still remain after the procedure. Your technician will work around the area.

If you have any allergies, it is important to notify your technician as numbing agents are used during the procedure.

Inform your technician if you have previously had any type of treatment done to the treatment area. For optimal results, any previous permanent makeup should be very faded or almost undetectable. If there are still green, blue, or red tones from past botched permanent makeup procedures, it is recommended to have it removed by laser from a trained professional before attempting any treatment. You can send a picture to your technician to help determine the severity.

To maintain a sterile environment and ensure patented techniques are followed, no other person or animal is allowed in the room during the procedure.

To secure an appointment, a retainer fee of $100 is required, which will be deducted from the total service cost. This is to respect our time and prevent “no-shows.”

Failure to inform us of any of the above conditions before your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your retainer. We prioritize your safety and aim to achieve the best results and satisfaction.

Reminders

Please keep in mind the following important reminders for Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), Scar Reduction Skin Camouflage, Eyebrow Embroidery & Microblading, Lip Blushing (Color Correction), and Korean Eyeliner Embroidery:

  • Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • You may apply a clean ice pack, protected with a paper towel or cloth, for 10-minute intervals during the first 48 hours to help reduce swelling or discomfort.
  • Avoid rubbing, picking, or scratching the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate. It is normal to feel itchy, but scratching or picking can lead to scarring or loss of color.
  • Refrain from wearing makeup on the treated area for 7 days to allow for proper healing.
  • Avoid facials, , chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks after the procedure to prevent any interference with the healing process.
  • Steer clear of hot, sweaty exercise for one week to avoid excessive sweating in the treated area.
  • Protect the treated area from direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks following the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors to shield the area from the sun.
  • Avoid taking long, hot showers for the first 10 days to prevent the treated area from being exposed to excessive heat or steam.
  • Refrain from sleeping on your face for the first 10 days to avoid putting pressure on the treated area.
  • Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days as water exposure may affect the healing process.
  • Do not apply topical makeup or sunscreen directly on the treated area during the healing process.

Remember that following the proper preparation and aftercare routine is crucial for achieving optimal results with your semi-permanent makeup procedure.

Important Note about Showering: During showers, limit the steam exposure to your face by keeping your treatment area out of the water while washing your body. Towards the end of your shower, you can wash your hair, allowing some water to gently touch your face. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

Please be aware that in extreme cases, prolonged exposure to chlorine, exfoliation creams, or direct sunlight can cause colors to fade.

Failure to follow the post-procedure instructions may result in pigment loss, discoloration, or infection. Refunds are not offered for services that have already been performed.

Our goal is to provide high-quality treatments and a relaxing experience. We continuously undergo training and stay up to date with the latest developments in the beauty industry to ensure our products and services are effective.
