Stages of Male Hair Loss
Female Hair Loss
Scalp Tattoo. Hairline Tattoo
It all starts with SMP – the key to getting your groove back.
Until the development of scalp micropigmentation, there were no solutions that offered truly guaranteed, natural-looking results. We are proud to offer Scalp Micropigmentation, and hair tattoo procedures for those who wish to correct the appearance of hair loss with safe, predictable, and instantaneous results every time. By producing the appearance of hair follicles, a scalp micropigmentation procedure is an excellent option for men with pattern baldness and women with thinning hair to provide the look of a thicker, fuller-looking hairline and crown for areas that have experienced hair loss. This hair restoration treatment is a minimally invasive way of restoring confidence, highlighting facial features, and turning back the clock on your appearance.
For men experiencing the effects of hair loss, a long list of topical lotions, cover-ups, drug-based solutions, and surgeries are available to solve the problem. However, none have shown the results and reliability that Micropigmentation of the scalp has delivered for our clients.
The most effective treatment for men who are suffering from the consequences of hair loss and pattern baldness and thinning. Hair Tattoos, as opposed to hair transplants, are a completely non-invasive process that deposits natural pigment under the skin of the scalp to rejuvenate your look for areas that have experienced hair loss and restore confidence.

Hairline
SMP, using a micro needle, can recreate a youthful, natural hairline, resembling a shaved head with a full appearance. Your hairline significantly impacts your overall look, so considering factors like age, ethnicity, and lifestyle is crucial. Options include a versatile, natural receding hairline and a sharp “barbershop” straight edge-up popular among African American and young Hispanic clients. The round hairline is another popular choice for all ages, especially suitable for rounder faces and larger heads. Regardless of your preference, it’s vital to have SMP administered by a trained specialist for the best outcome.
Density
Let’s debunk a common myth! You don’t have to shave your head completely to benefit from SMP. There are cases where SMP is suitable for thinning hair, especially for those who’ve undergone a hair transplant without achieving the desired density or for individuals experiencing visible thinning but not yet ready to shave. Contrary to the misconception that only men face hair loss, 50% of women will also experience noticeable hair loss. Various conditions, such as hormonal changes due to pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, and thyroid problems, can contribute to permanent or temporary hair loss in women. Scalp Micropigmentation is an effective solution for both men and women dealing with general thinning. We adapt the procedure to work with your existing hair, minimizing the contrast between your scalp and hair to give the illusion of fuller, thicker hair.
Scar Camouflage
Certainly! SMP is an effective treatment for scars. All hair transplants leave some form of permanent scarring, and many clients who underwent such procedures may not have achieved the desired density, prompting them to consider shaving for a preferred look with SMP treatment. Hair transplant scars, whether from FUT (strip scar) running from one ear to the other or FUE (multiple tiny round, white scars) in the donor area, can become visible when the hair is shaved. SMP proves successful in covering these scars. Moreover, it’s not limited to hair transplant scars; SMP can effectively cover scars from accidents or surgeries as well.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
Hair loss can impact one’s confidence, prompting the search for effective solutions. Scalp micropigmentation offers a non-surgical, customizable approach to address various types of hair loss concerns, catering to both men and women.
1. Male Pattern Baldness:
Male pattern baldness often involves a receding hairline and crown hair loss, affecting confidence. Scalp micropigmentation provides a non-invasive solution, using tiny follicle deposits to restore the original hairline. The custom-tailored approach ensures a defined and natural-looking shaved hair appearance, allowing individuals to resume daily activities promptly.
2. Full Hair Loss Restoration:
For those experiencing extensive hair loss, scalp micropigmentation offers a minimally invasive procedure to create the illusion of a full head of hair. Artists skillfully design a new hairline, framing the face, and achieving a clean, timeless aesthetic akin to a buzz cut. This procedure significantly boosts self-confidence.
3. Scalp Scar Camouflage:
Scars from hair transplant surgeries can compromise one’s hair look, causing distress. Scalp micropigmentation effectively conceals these scars, blending pigments into the scar region and achieving 60-80% scar concealment. The procedure is comfortable, providing a well-blended hair look that depends on scar texture and aggressiveness.
4. Alopecia:
Alopecia manifests in various forms, including male pattern baldness, patches of baldness, and hair loss on the lower back and sides. Regardless of the type, scalp micropigmentation offers a non-invasive solution, restoring the appearance of hair follicles and eliminating signs of hair loss.
5. Thinning Hair:
To address thinning hair, scalp micropigmentation improves hair density, targeting bald spots to create a natural, dense look. This common treatment enhances the overall appearance by depositing pigments into the skin’s dermal layer, mimicking additional hair on thinning areas.
6. Women’s Hair Loss:
Contrary to common belief, women also face hair thinning due to various reasons such as alopecia, cancer treatment, menopause, stress, hormonal fluctuations post-pregnancy, hypothyroidism, and certain medications. Scalp micropigmentation offers women the opportunity to regain the appearance of thicker, fuller hair, tailored to their specific needs and the scale of hair loss.

Usage of Numbing Cream/ Numbing Agent
Numbing agent will prevent your body from sending any inflammatory signals that may cause these issues. Your skin will be much less likely to have any side effects such as redness, inflammation or bruising. After the procedure, you may experience slight irritation but this will fade away after your skin has healed. A numbing cream can help reduce your discomfort and allow the microblading procedure to be completed faster. This means that you’re less likely to feel any pain throughout the process and it will also take much less time for your skin to heal.
When numbing cream is applied, we cover every part of the skin that will be treated during the microblading procedure. This is because some areas (such as the lips) may feel painful when they’re done and you don’t want to add any additional discomfort after using a painkiller.
In order to ensure your overall well-being and avoid any potential complications, it is important to carefully review all the information provided on this page regarding the requirements, contraindications, and medications to avoid before your semi-permanent makeup appointment. Proper preparation is key to achieving the best possible healed results, so please make sure to follow the instructions accordingly.

To ensure a successful procedure and optimal healing, please follow these guidelines prior to your appointment:
- Avoid blood thinners to minimize excessive bleeding.
- Refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages for 48 hours before the procedure.
- Do not consume caffeine on the day of the procedure.

Please note that the following conditions and guidelines apply to various procedures, including Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), Scar Reduction Skin Camouflage, Eyebrow Embroidery & Microblading, Lip Blushing (Color Correction), and Korean Eyeliner Embroidery:
We are unable to perform Semi-Permanent Makeup if any of the following conditions exist:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Non-compliant diabetes. It is essential to heal well and adhere to your doctor’s recommended diet and medication.
- If you are currently using Accutane or other strong retinoids (after 6 months, it is allowed).
- If you have sunburn on the treatment area.
- If less than 48 – 72 hours have passed since waxing.
Semi-Permanent Makeup is not recommended if you have any of the following conditions or symptoms on the treatment area:
- Skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, scabies, ringworm, acne, allergic reactions, boils, wounds, severe scaling keratosis, or damaged capillaries.
- If you have undergone a strong chemical peel, dermabrasion, immunotherapy, or any other intense skin resurfacing treatment. The skin needs to be free from irritation and should be stopped 2 – 3 weeks before any treatment.
Moles do not retain pigment, so they will still remain after the procedure. Your technician will work around the area.
If you have any allergies, it is important to notify your technician as numbing agents are used during the procedure.
Inform your technician if you have previously had any type of treatment done to the treatment area. For optimal results, any previous permanent makeup should be very faded or almost undetectable. If there are still green, blue, or red tones from past botched permanent makeup procedures, it is recommended to have it removed by laser from a trained professional before attempting any treatment. You can send a picture to your technician to help determine the severity.
To maintain a sterile environment and ensure patented techniques are followed, no other person or animal is allowed in the room during the procedure.
To secure an appointment, a retainer fee of $100 is required, which will be deducted from the total service cost. This is to respect our time and prevent “no-shows.”
Failure to inform us of any of the above conditions before your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your retainer. We prioritize your safety and aim to achieve the best results and satisfaction.

- Avoid facials, , chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks after the procedure to prevent any interference with the healing process.
- Steer clear of hot, sweaty exercise for one week to avoid excessive sweating in the treated area.

Please keep in mind the following important reminders for Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP), Scar Reduction Skin Camouflage, Eyebrow Embroidery & Microblading, Lip Blushing (Color Correction), and Korean Eyeliner Embroidery:
- Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- You may apply a clean ice pack, protected with a paper towel or cloth, for 10-minute intervals during the first 48 hours to help reduce swelling or discomfort.
- Avoid rubbing, picking, or scratching the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate. It is normal to feel itchy, but scratching or picking can lead to scarring or loss of color.
- Refrain from wearing makeup on the treated area for 7 days to allow for proper healing.
- Avoid facials, , chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks after the procedure to prevent any interference with the healing process.
- Steer clear of hot, sweaty exercise for one week to avoid excessive sweating in the treated area.
- Protect the treated area from direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks following the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors to shield the area from the sun.
- Avoid taking long, hot showers for the first 10 days to prevent the treated area from being exposed to excessive heat or steam.
- Refrain from sleeping on your face for the first 10 days to avoid putting pressure on the treated area.
- Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days as water exposure may affect the healing process.
- Do not apply topical makeup or sunscreen directly on the treated area during the healing process.
Remember that following the proper preparation and aftercare routine is crucial for achieving optimal results with your semi-permanent makeup procedure.
Important Note about Showering: During showers, limit the steam exposure to your face by keeping your treatment area out of the water while washing your body. Towards the end of your shower, you can wash your hair, allowing some water to gently touch your face. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
Please be aware that in extreme cases, prolonged exposure to chlorine, exfoliation creams, or direct sunlight can cause colors to fade.
Failure to follow the post-procedure instructions may result in pigment loss, discoloration, or infection. Refunds are not offered for services that have already been performed.
