Never had lashes or brows done before?
This guide explains what each treatment involves, what to ask before booking, current pricing and the practical things that are useful to know before your first appointment.

Three questions that narrow it down
How long do you want it to last?
Weeks: lash lift (8 weeks), brow lamination (4–6 weeks), extensions (3–6 weeks with infills).
Years: brow embroidery, lip blushing, eyeliner — all 12–24 months.
How much upkeep are you comfortable with?
None: a lash lift or lamination needs nothing until it grows out.
Regular: extensions need infills every 2–3 weeks. If you won't come back, a grown-out set looks worse than none.
How long would you like the result to last?
Completely: lifts and lamination just grow out.
Semi-permanent: embroidery fades gradually over around 12–24 months and is a longer-lasting option. If you're unsure, you may prefer to start with a shorter-term treatment first.
If you're not sure, consider a shorter-term option first. A S$65 lash lift or an S$80 brow lamination tells you a lot about whether you like the look, for a fraction of the cost and none of the commitment.

A few examples
Seeing the treatments can make it easier to understand what each service is designed to change.

On the day
What a first appointment is like
Broadly the same shape whichever treatment you've booked.
You'll be asked questions
Medical history, allergies, medication, previous treatments. It isn't nosiness — it's what stops us doing something that won't heal well.
We'll agree the look
For anything semi-permanent, the shape is drawn on and you approve it in the mirror first. Nothing permanent starts until you say yes.
The treatment itself
Lying down, eyes closed, quiet room. Numbing where relevant. Most people find it relaxing and a lot of them fall asleep.
Aftercare, in writing
Before you leave, we'll explain the aftercare, what to avoid and what to expect over the next few days. If you have questions afterwards, please get in touch and we can advise you.
Worth knowing
Five useful things to know before your first appointment
Semi-permanent treatments look wrong before they look right
Brows and lips are dramatically darker for the first three to five days, then flake, then go through a stage around day 7–14 where the colour looks almost gone. This is a normal part of the healing cycle and can look surprising if you are not expecting it. The true result appears at 30–40 days. Read the healing timeline on the service page before you book — knowing the stages removes most of the anxiety.
The touch-up isn't really optional
Skin takes pigment unevenly. Almost everybody needs a second session to even things out — that's why our first brow touch-up is free within the first month. If somewhere quotes you a price with no touch-up mentioned, ask.
Aftercare is roughly half the result
Work that heals badly usually heals badly because of what happened in the first ten days, not what happened in the chair. Picking flakes, getting the area wet too early, sleeping face-down, oil-based cleansers near lash extensions — all of these cost you the result you paid for.
Give semi-permanent work enough time before an event
Allow six to eight weeks before a wedding, so you get through healing and a touch-up. Lashes and brow lamination are different — book those three to seven days before, so they settle.
Sometimes the best advice is to wait
If someone agrees to every treatment for every client without asking about medication, skin condition or previous work, that's a warning sign rather than good service. If timing or suitability is not right, we would rather explain why and suggest waiting than recommend a treatment too quickly.
First-timer questions
The things people ask before their first appointment
How do I choose between a lash lift and extensions?
If your lashes are a decent length but grow straight or downward, a lift (S$65) reshapes what you have and needs nothing for two months. If you want visible length and density and you're happy coming back every two to three weeks for infills, extensions (from S$68). Send us a photo and we'll tell you which suits you.
Will any of this damage my natural lashes or brows?
When treatments are performed appropriately and aftercare is followed, unnecessary damage should be avoided. We consider the condition of your natural lashes or brows before treatment, and if they would benefit from a break, we will recommend waiting.
How much should I expect to spend?
Prices vary by treatment. For reference, a Keratin Lash Lift is S$65 and Brow Lamination is S$80, while semi-permanent treatments such as eyeliner, brow embroidery and lip blushing are priced individually. Check the relevant service page for the current listed price or ask us if a service is quoted by area or add-on.
What if I don't like the result?
For semi-permanent treatments, you approve the proposed shape before pigment work begins. Lash and brow treatments have different wear times and grow-out patterns, and we'll explain what to expect before your appointment. If you have concerns afterwards, please contact us so we can advise you.
How far in advance should I book before an event?
Lashes and brow lamination: 3–7 days beforehand, so they settle. Semi-permanent makeup: at least 6–8 weeks, because you need to get through healing and ideally a touch-up. Avoid booking semi-permanent work in the week of a wedding or other major event.
Can I bring a photo of what I want?
Please do — it helps a lot. Just be open to us adapting it. What suits someone else's bone structure, skin type or natural lash may not suit yours, so we will talk through what is likely to work for you.
Do I need a patch test?
Only if you've reacted to dyes, adhesives, perming solutions or topical anaesthetics before, or if you have very sensitive skin. Mention it when you book, not on the day — patch tests need arranging in advance.
Is it awkward if I fall asleep?
Not remotely. It happens constantly. Most treatments involve lying still with your eyes closed for one to three hours in a quiet, warm room. We take it as a compliment.
Still not sure?
