No, except for the Refresher course, which is for artists who are already certified. Everything else is built for complete beginners — career switchers, parents returning to work, and people training alongside a full-time job.

No prior beauty experience is required for our beginner courses. Classes are kept to a maximum of six students, and each course page explains the model requirements, professional business kit and post-course support that apply.

A professional business kit, a Jealash Academy certificate of completion, teaching in English or Malay, a class of no more than six students, practical business guidance, and complimentary Lash Pod access after you graduate.

Yes — one model for the one-day courses and two for the four-day lash masterclass. Please arrange a family member or close friend where possible. If you cannot bring a model, please tell us in advance; an in-house model may be arranged for a fee, subject to availability.

Weekday and weekend dates are available throughout the year. Please message us with your preferred course and dates so we can check current availability.

Once your course and training dates have been agreed with us, full payment of the course fee is required to secure your confirmed training dates. Your training dates are only secured once full payment has been received. PayNow is available with no provider surcharge, and eligible students may use Atome or Grab PayLater to spread repayments through the payment provider. Any applicable provider surcharge will be explained before confirmation.

Please inform us in writing as early as possible. Any approved date change is subject to the notice periods, available dates and times in our enrolment policies. A new date or time is not guaranteed.

Six months from the date you enrol. Multi-day courses can be arranged across the agreed training schedule, and the days may be spread across approximately two to three weeks depending on trainer availability. Please let us know your preferred dates before you confirm your course.

Yes — for teaching and for social media. If you'd rather not appear, give us written notice before the course starts and we'll keep you out of anything we publish. It has no effect on your place, your teaching or your certificate, and the same choice applies to your model.

Please confirm your training dates with us before making travel arrangements. The same payment, cancellation and scheduling terms apply to international and local students. Travel, accommodation, visa, entry requirements and travel documents remain your responsibility. Please read the international student terms before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Post-course support depends on the course. Brow Embroidery includes one supervised live-model session within 30 days, while the six-day Brow, Lip & Eyeliner programme includes three supervised sessions — one eyebrow, one lip and one eyeliner. Graduates also receive the complimentary Lash Pod entitlement, and you can also send us training-related questions after class.
