What a lash removal appointment looks like
A simple service does not need a wall of text — a few visuals explain the setting and eye-area work more quickly.

Don't pull them off yourself
Lash adhesive is designed not to let go. Picking, pulling or forcing extensions out takes your natural lashes with them, often at the root — and lashes pulled from the root can take three to four months to grow back, sometimes patchily.
Also don't: use oil to "melt" them off at home (it weakens the bond unevenly and you'll still end up pulling), use tweezers, or cut them with scissors.
If they're uncomfortable right now: don't rub. Message us — we'll usually fit you in the same day.

Honest assessment
Is this right for you?
There's no real "unsuitable" here — but a couple of situations need mentioning when you message.
This will likely work well for you
- The set has grown out and looks patchy or twisted
- You're switching to a lash lift and need a clean base
- A set from another salon isn't right and you want to start over
- A wedding, a holiday, or simply wanting a break
- The extensions feel heavy or are pulling
We remove work from any salon. It costs a little more because we don't know what adhesive was used, but we'd far rather you came to us than picked them off at home.
Let's talk first, or wait
- You're having an allergic reaction — swelling, real redness, significant discomfort. Say so and we'll prioritise you.
- You have an active eye infection or conjunctivitis — see a doctor first
- Your eyelid is swollen enough to affect vision — that's a doctor, not a lash artist
If the area appears to need medical attention rather than a lash service, we will recommend seeking appropriate medical advice before arranging an appointment.
On the day
What actually happens
Between fifteen minutes and an hour, depending on how much is on there and what adhesive was used.
Look
We check what adhesive is on there and the condition of your natural lashes underneath.
Protect
Under-eye pads go on and your lower lashes are taped clear.
Dissolve
Professional gel remover is applied and left to break down the bond. Extensions then slide off without resistance.
Cleanse & assess
Lashes cleansed, then we assess the condition of your natural lashes and explain whether they would benefit from a rest before another treatment.
The full detail
Before, during and after
Everything you'd want to know, tucked away so it's here when you need it and out of the way when you don't.
After removal
- Your lashes may look sparser than you remember. That's normal — you've been looking at extensions for weeks, and some natural lashes will have shed on schedule underneath.
- Leave them alone for 24 hours: no mascara, no curler, no rubbing
- A lash serum or a little castor oil nightly helps condition recover
- If you want extensions again, we'd usually suggest a week or two off first
Is my natural lash damaged?
Some thinning after long-term extensions is common and usually recovers within one to two growth cycles — about two to three months. Damage that doesn't recover normally comes from extensions that were too heavy for the natural lash, or from picking them off.
We will check the condition of your natural lashes first. If they would benefit from a break, we will recommend allowing them time to recover before adding another set.
What to do next
- Want extensions again? Usually possible the same day if your lashes are in good condition. If not, we'll say so.
- Want a break? A keratin lash lift gives you curl and definition with nothing to maintain — a common next step.
- Want nothing? Perfectly fine. Use a lash serum for a couple of months and your lashes will look after themselves.

Common questions
The things clients ask most
Will it hurt?
No. Your eyes stay closed and the gel does the work.
Will I lose my natural lashes?
Not from a professional removal. The remover dissolves the adhesive so extensions release on their own. Lash loss comes from pulling, not from removing.
Can you remove work from another salon?
Yes, and we do it often. It's S$20+ rather than S$10 because unfamiliar adhesive usually takes longer.
Can I get a new set the same day?
Usually yes, if your lashes are in good condition. If they're not, we'll tell you and suggest waiting.
How much do you charge?
From S$10 for our own clients, from S$20 for work done elsewhere.
My eyes are itchy and swollen — what do I do?
Don't rub. Message us and say so — we'll prioritise you. If it looks like something needing medical attention rather than removal, we'll tell you that instead.
Can't I just use oil at home?
We don't recommend removing extensions with oil at home. It can weaken the adhesive unevenly and encourage pulling, which can place unnecessary stress on the natural lashes.
How long until my lashes recover?
If they're just thinner from long wear, one to two growth cycles — about two to three months. A lash serum helps. Lashes pulled out at the root take longer.
