The short answer
There is no single “best eyelash extension course in Singapore” for every beginner.
A student looking for the lowest entry price is comparing something very different from a student who wants Classic + Volume in one pathway, one-to-one training, international accreditation, or somewhere to practise after graduation.
That is why price alone is a poor first filter.
The more useful comparison is:
- What techniques are actually covered?
- How much practical work do you personally perform?
- Do you work on live models?
- How many students share the trainer?
- What is included in the kit?
- What happens when the course ends?
That last question is the one we think deserves far more attention.

This list is deliberately not exhaustive. Singapore has more lash trainers and smaller studios than can reasonably fit into one article. We selected providers with a public course page, enough curriculum information to compare meaningfully, and a current or recently published fee.
1. SOQ International Academy — best for a low-cost staged start
Published fee: S$360 nett for Eyelash Extension 1.0
Structure: 4 sessions, approximately 3–4 hours each
Live model: No at Level 1
Location: International Plaza
SOQ’s 1.0 course is one of the lowest published entry points for structured lash training.
The course focuses on foundations such as lash anatomy, hygiene, isolation, adhesive control, posture, Classic application concepts, safe removal and mannequin practice.
Students who want live-model work and more advanced training can move into Eyelash Extension 2.0, where SOQ publishes an eight-session structure with two models provided by the academy.
What stands out
The staged format lets you spend less at the beginning and decide whether you want to continue.
That can be sensible if you have never touched lash tweezers before and want to test your interest without committing to a larger package immediately.
What to check
Level 1 does not include a live model.
SOQ also publishes age, academic and language requirements, so this is not an open-entry programme for every applicant.
Its 1.0 and 2.0 pages currently state that those specific workshops are not eligible for government funding or subsidies.
Best for: students prioritising the lowest possible structured entry fee.
2. The Beauty Recipe — a long-established Korean-style option, but verify current funding status
Published fee: S$500 training + S$99 material kit = S$599 total
Published duration: 2 days / 15 hours
Published practical time: 505 minutes practical, 395 minutes theory
The Beauty Recipe publishes a Korean Single Strand Eyelash Extension course covering work-area preparation, lash types, eye-shape styling, single-strand application, touch-ups, maintenance, removal, aftercare and layering.
Its course page also publishes an unusually detailed theory/practical breakdown.
What stands out
For S$599 total, the page describes 15 hours of training and a substantial material kit.
The academy also has a much broader catalogue of beauty courses, which may appeal to someone who eventually wants to add skincare, PMU or other services.
Important 2026 funding note
The page still describes the lash course as SkillsFuture Credit eligible, but the eligibility period shown on that course page ended in November 2023.
A MySkillsFuture search for “eyelash” returned no courses when checked on 1 September 2026.
So do not enrol on the assumption that SkillsFuture will pay for the course. Confirm current eligibility directly with Beauty Recipe and SkillsFuture before making your decision.
Best for: students interested in Beauty Recipe’s Korean-style training ecosystem who are prepared to confirm current course/funding details directly.
3. The Lash House — best low-cost four-day route in this comparison
Published fee: S$688
Duration: 4 days, 9am–3pm
Live model: Yes
Location: CityLink Mall
The Lash House’s beginner course is one of the strongest price-to-duration propositions in this list.
Training moves from theory and paper exercises into mannequin work and then live-model application.
Published topics include lash anatomy, tools, Classic single lashes, YY lashes, isolation, mapping, placement, hygiene and client fundamentals.
Starter packs and practice kits are included.
What stands out
Four training days at S$688 is difficult to ignore for a price-sensitive beginner.
The Lash House also has a very established salon operation, and its City Hall location will be especially convenient for students working centrally.
What to consider
The beginner programme is more foundation-focused than some broader Basic + Advanced programmes.
If you later want a wider range of Volume techniques, look at the cost and duration of the academy’s next training step as well—not just the first course.
Best for: a beginner wanting a relatively affordable four-day programme with live-model progression.
4. Shimmer & Shine — best for a compact three-day course
Published fee: S$888
Duration: 3 days
Live model: Yes
Shimmer & Shine publishes a three-day professional eyelash extension programme.
Day 1 focuses on theory and mannequin practice.
Day 2 moves into hygiene, client preparation, retention and model work.
Day 3 adds design concepts including 3D, 6D and 9D styling together with business guidance.
What stands out
The three-day format sits neatly between short intensive training and a longer four-day programme.
Someone who already knows they want lash extensions but has limited leave may find that attractive.
What to consider
Ask how much of each day is hands-on and how much is observation or theory.
As with every course, “three days” tells you less than the actual practical hours.
Best for: students looking for a compact multi-day route with a live model.
5. Beyoutiful — best for published model volume in a small class

Beyoutiful’s Basic programme covers Classic 1-by-1 lashes, 2D, consultation, removal and eye-spa concepts.
Its page publishes three real models for the Basic course, while the Advanced course lists four real models and techniques such as Volume, Camellia, Kim K, Hybrid and lower lashes.
What stands out
The number of published model sessions is notable.
For some learners, several separate model experiences may matter more than having a single longer training day.
What to consider
The Basic and Advanced programmes are separate.
If you want the full pathway, compare the combined cost rather than the S$888 entry fee.
Best for: students who place a high value on repeated model work and a small published class cap.

6. Jealash Beauty Studio & Academy — best for the classroom-to-client transition

That is one reason we encourage students to ask every academy—not only us—how much of the programme they personally spend performing the technique.
Two live models
Students work through real-model practical sessions rather than finishing the programme on mannequin work alone.
Maximum six students
Lash mistakes can be tiny. Isolation, attachment, direction and weight often need close observation.
A six-student cap gives the trainer a defined upper limit.
The course does not end at the certificate
The useful question is not only “What happens during class?” but “Where can I keep practising once class is over?”

The Lash Academy’s Eyelash Specialist Business Start-up Class is one of the broadest published lash curriculums we found.
It covers Classic, Designer, Hybrid, Volume, Wispy and lower lashes, together with lash-weight calculations, styling, retention, pricing and business setup.
What stands out
The post-course support is unusually extensive.
The Lash Academy publishes:
- one year of complimentary revision/refresher sessions
- lifetime mentorship via in-person consultation, WhatsApp and phone
- professional start-up toolkit
- lifetime student discount on professional products
That is a legitimate strength.
What to consider
“From S$1,980” covers several course-duration options.
Ask for the exact fee and curriculum corresponding to the duration you want before comparing it with a fixed-price four-day course elsewhere.
Best for: students who value long-term trainer access and revision more than finding the lowest fee.
8. Lash Institute Singapore — best for a structured certification pathway
Lash Institute publishes accredited Classic and Russian Volume courses as well as a larger Diploma in Eyelash Design Mastery.
Its Diploma route includes Classic lash training, LED lash extensions and lash lift, plus model work and home assignments.
What stands out
The academy has a clearly structured certification pathway and specialist add-on programmes.
Its published Diploma outline also includes business setup, photography, portfolio work, pricing and ongoing educator support.
Price warning
Lash Institute’s own current pages show different promotional figures for the Level 1 Classic course.
The education page recently listed S$2,322 (U.P. S$2,580), while the shop page listed S$2,610 (U.P. S$2,900).
Because of that inconsistency, confirm the actual payable price directly before using it in a cost comparison.
Best for: students prioritising a more formal multi-certification pathway and willing to verify current package pricing.
What matters more than the headline fee?
1. The true pathway cost
Suppose Course A costs S$688 but only covers your foundation.
Course B costs S$1,688 and includes Basic + Advanced.
Neither is automatically better value.
Ask what you would need to spend to reach the level you actually want.
2. Live-model quantity and quality
A mannequin will never blink, water or grow lashes in five different directions.
Ask:
- How many models do I personally work on?
- Do I complete the whole set?
- Who finds the model?
- What happens if the model cancels?
3. Hands-on hours
Course days are an imperfect metric.
The better question is:
How many hours will my hands actually be performing the skill?
Jealash publishes 20 hands-on hours for its combined four-day masterclass. Other academies may have equally substantial practice—ask them for the figure.
4. Post-course support
There is no single best model.
The Lash Academy has exceptionally long published mentorship.
The Lash House offers a clear beginner-to-advanced pathway.
SOQ lets you progress by levels.
Jealash gives graduates physical treatment-room access after training.
Think about the kind of support you will genuinely use.
The part many students forget: where will you practise afterwards?
Singapore’s Home-Based Business Scheme permits qualifying small-scale beauty services from residential premises subject to conditions.
That does not mean working from home suits everyone.
You may have young children, limited space, privacy concerns, family members using the same room or simply dislike inviting unfamiliar clients into your home.
Commercial rental may be too large a commitment when you have only a few clients.

- Where and how am I expected to practise after graduation?
If an academy answers those five clearly, you can make a much better decision than by comparing price alone.
